Using Your Hydrix
Setup, water sources, battery, and general usage questions.
No — Hydrix self-primes from any open water source, including a bucket, pool, or river, using the included filtered intake hose, up to 4 meters of suction height.
About 20-30 minutes of continuous spraying on a full charge, which takes roughly 3-4 hours to reach 100%.
The nozzle rotates between a focused jet (best for stubborn dirt and stains), a wide fan spray (best for general surface cleaning), and a foam mode that pairs with the included foam pot for even, clinging coverage on cars and outdoor furniture.
Yes, at a safe distance and on a lower pressure setting. Keep the nozzle at least 12 inches from the surface when washing paint, and avoid the highest pressure setting directly on painted panels or trim.
Every Hydrix includes our 30-day guarantee. If something isn't working as expected within that window, contact us and we'll sort it out.
Safety Precautions
Please read before your first use.
No. Never point Hydrix at people, animals, or yourself, even at low pressure. The spray is strong enough to cause skin or eye injury at close range. Keep bystanders and pets away from the spray area while in use.
We recommend eye protection (safety glasses or goggles) and closed-toe shoes. Avoid loose clothing that could get caught on the trigger or nozzle.
Never spray directly at electrical outlets, switches, extension cords, or exposed wiring. Even though Hydrix itself is cordless and battery-powered, the water it sprays can still cause a shock hazard if it contacts live electrical components.
- Only use the charger included with your Hydrix — using a different charger can damage the battery or create a fire risk.
- Charge in a dry, ventilated area, away from water and direct sunlight.
- Never charge a battery that is visibly swollen, cracked, or damaged — contact us instead.
- Store the unit and battery out of reach of children when not in use.
No. Only the filtered intake end is designed to sit in water for drawing a water source. The main body, battery, and trigger housing should never be submerged or exposed to heavy rain for extended periods.
Avoid the highest pressure setting on soft wood, old or peeling paint, window seals, and delicate outdoor fabrics — it can strip finishes or force water into gaps it shouldn't. Test on a small, hidden area first if you're unsure how a surface will react.
No. Hydrix is intended for adult use only. Keep it out of reach of children, and never allow a child to operate the trigger, even under supervision.
